The UN Secretary-General, António Guterres, will introduce the annual report on the activities of the Organization at the opening of the general debate.
UN 75th anniversary commemoration
At the high-level meeting Member States will formally adopt a declaration on the commemoration of the 75th anniversary of the Organization. The UN75 Report, summarizing the findings of the global dialogues, will also be shared.
This year, because of the pandemic, world leaders have been invited to send in pre-recorded videos of their speeches which will be broadcast “as live”.

For the media
The Media Accreditation and Liaison Unit will not issue temporary media accreditation for the high-level period of GA75. There will not be a media centre and access to media booths will be limited for resident correspondents.
